The practice was founded in Ilkley by Nigel Jacques in 2013, following a senior management career at leading architectural practices – HOK, London, Carey Jones, Leeds and Sheppard Robson, Manchester, building nationally recognised, award winning buildings across all sectors. An example of this is the multi award winning masterplan and design of the “candle” building at Granary Wharf, Leeds, which was a 2011 RIBA Regional Award Winner and 2011 National Housing Award Overall winner.
